Mount Rinjani (3726 m) is part of Rinjani National Park (RNP), and the third highest mountain peak in Indonesia. It's actually still an active volcano. Its last eruption was in 1910. It's not only a recommended choice for mountain hikers, but also a sacred place to both, Balinese and native Sasak people. A sacred mountain, which believed as a place with indefinable mysteries. Like other National Parks, it's an interesting place for those who are interested in natural heritage environment and ecology. Three days and two nights tour starting from North East Side (Sembalun) of Mt. Rinjani.
Day 1: Leave your Hotel at 06:00 am with your private full AC Car for the starting point of your trek (Senaru or Sembalun Village). Journey takes around 2,5hours. Start hiking and after around 8 hours walking through an open filed and pine tree forest, arrive at PELAWANGAN SEMBALUN or RIM II. You will spend the night at the RIM II campsite.
Day 2: Start at 03.30 am to climb up for the top so you will catch a beautiful sunrise there. You arrive back at campsite around 10:00 o’clock for your well deserved breakfast. After that we go directly down to the crater lake and Hot Springs for fishing, swimming or relaxing. The second night you will spend at the lake camp site.
Day 3: The third day we climb up to the Rim and then walk down to the starting point back through the west side of the mountain (SENARU SECTION). Expected arrival at Senaru is around 14.00pm and after your transport you will be back at your hotel in the early evening.
